Weekend Reads on Lattes & Lipstick

    Weekend Reading: 8.04.16

It’s weekend reading time and after what feels like forever of just reading academic journals I finally have a new stack of fresh books thanks to the Trendy Sparrow’s Book Club I know I’ve mentioned this book club before but I just love it. It is my definite go to place when I need new books but unfortunately April’s selection isn’t available in the UK yet so I’m catching up on those months when I was knee deep in my dissertation and missed some great books. Here’s what I’ve got lined up:

If you’re looking for your next read and you’re a total boss lady then I would 100% recommend this book club. Also, while you’re on her website have a look at her etsy store because it’s to die for.

And if you’re anything like me and love any reason to shop a Friday away you can still stop my getaway favourites and start planning for summer months at the beach. Speaking of beach have you seen all the cute beach snaps on my Instagram? I’m working really hard to filter through all my photos and edit my favourites with as many outfits linked as possible but I went a little snap happy with my new Nikon so it could take awhile.

In the meantime, you can enjoy these cute quick iPhone edits 😀

Hello Stacie: First of all, thanks for the books recommendations, i will definitely check it out those ones since i love reading. Second of all, congrats on your engagement, i’ve seen the pics on Tumblr (bth great pics) and i’m really happy for you, for what i’ve seen in other posts you seem to have a great relationship, i know what is like to be in a long distance relationship, i’ve been dating a guy from Essex in 2014 but it didn’t end up well, so i’m glad that you found the one in that country and i’m pretty sure that you both are gonna be really happy. Best wishes. Xo!

Hi Luciana! The books are great, really inspiring and from such great women as well. Would love to know your thoughts on them if you read them. And thank you! thank you! If you like those pictures, you’ll love everything that is coming these next few weeks as I work through them. I’m sorry your LDR didn’t work it, I know how hard it is but even at the end of the day I’m sure you learned a lot about yourself and it was worth it despite the outcome. Thanks so much for your comment, I really appreciate it. Remember to check back for more pictures soon! xx Staci
